Octodad is a third person adventure game about destruction, deception, and fatherhood. The player controls Octodad, a dapper octopus masquerading as a human, as he goes about a day of his life. His existence is a constant struggle, as he must master mundane tasks with his unwieldy boneless tentacles while simultaneously keeping his cephalopodian nature a secret from his human family.

Floating Castle Defense is a mod for Unreal Tournament 3. The game is similar to a tower defense game, but from a first person point of view and with multiple teammates. I worked as part of a team that participated in Global Game Jam 2009. The game that we made during this 48 hour game development competition was Code Dependence. This was my first attempt at game development. I developed the concept for the game with the team’s artist and took on a level design role, which was made possible by our programmers’ efforts to create a simple level editor along with our game. I worked on Boys Dont’ Cry during Global Game Jam 2010. The game revolves around coaxing citizens in the fields surrounding a small town into the town square.
